1. first day
Catch up with old friends, brave new teachers, fight your way through the sea of students, and hope you're in the right classroom. Oh, you're the new kid. Well, that's okay as long as you've got more than enough summer vacation anecdotes to fill ten pages of Times New Roman size 12, single-spaced.

2. first period
You're gonna be late! Or are you already there? Class hasn't started just yet, so chat it up or copy your classmate's homework before the teacher gets here.

3. lesson proper
You're probably diligently taking notes, looking out the window daydreaming or reciting in class, much to your teacher's delight - or dismay. Try not to be too obvious when counting down the minutes and pass that note as discreetly as possible.

4. faculty
Have a bone to pick with your terror math teacher. A crush on the cute chemistry teacher? There might be something you want to ask your homeroom teacher about. In any case, you plan on seeing a faculty member today. Or maybe they plan on seeing you!

5. lunch break
Man, you are starving. Hopefully, today's menu has something good. If the crowded cafeteria's not your thing, try the rooftop.

6. hooky
One of you is skipping class. You should try talking them out of it if that's your thing.

7. detention
What on earth did you do to get this? Oh well. Detention can't be that bad when you've got all these very nice, approachable model students around to talk to.

8. p.e.
Baseball, basketball, dodgeball - no matter the sport, just remember: you are the star. It's you. At least, you hope it is.

9. home ec.
Sewing! Cooking! ... Try not to burn the school down!

10. lab work
Frog dissections! Explosions!

11. school fair/festival
Every school has one of these. What's your class doing this year?

Oh boy, oh boy, being the star of this play is your dream. It isn't? Oh. You're still helping with the props and costumes, right?

If you need to look something up or just want some peace and quiet, this is the place. Whatever you do, shh, people are trying to read.

14. bully
Whether they take the form of Nelson Muntz or Regina George, if you choose to meet them at the gym at four o' clock or else, be ready to face the consequences... or maybe you don't have to. Not when someone's here to help you out. (This can go either way - one of the participants can be the bully or someone helping the victim.)

15. tutor
You're having trouble with a class or you're trying to make up for the days you were absent. It's a good thing someone was nice enough to offer their assistance.

16. clubs
Assuming that you actually have one. Are you writing for the school paper? Part of the student council? The marching band? Maybe you're a member of one of those weird occult clubs or something...

17. sports
Every school has their main sport - the one the school is know for! So go out to their last game a support your school with some pride.

18. prom
Do you have a dress? A date? Who are you voting for prom king? Is being on prom committee is driving you crazy? Do you even care?

19. graduation
Well, it was fun while it lasted. It's time to say those last words, settle those scores and get ready to grow up.

( After the super boring ceremony, Momo runs out of the bleachers and off to find her big bro. When she does find him, she immediately hugs him, clinging pretty close before letting go. Her expression is angry, but her wet eyes contradict her supposed emotion. )

You're lucky they even let you graduate! What were you thinking skipping all those classes this year?!

[ As soon as he was released from the ceremony, he was about to walk away from the crowd of fellow students who were surrounded by a swarm of family members congratulating them-- until he was caught by a pair of arms wrapping around him, refusing to let him move any further. The surprise quickly faded, and he hugged her in return. This was his sister, after all. He noticed the emotion in her expression, and it tugged at his heart. ]

"All I had to do was attend the day of the test-- and pass it. It wasn't that hard, you know..."

Yeah, but! ( She looks away, embarrassed. ) You made Mom and Dad worry! They were really worried, you know! We thought you mind end up as some NEET- I mean, I mean, they did! They were worried, not me!

[ He's asked the other boy to meet him in the library, where he's currently stationed with his feet propped onto the table, stacking books into buildings to pass the time.

Kano had asked for help with a few classes that he's well aware Shintaro excels at and there is definitely no ulterior motive for this at all what gave you that idea?? ]

[ With much reluctance as usual, Shintaro had agreed to tutor Kano with classes he had specified-- he found it inconvenient to teach and strange that some people didn't understand the material presented in class, but what could he do? Not everyone had an IQ of 168, after all.

He walked into the library, in his arms a couple of textbooks to help him with his teaching. Glancing around, Shintaro finally found who he was looking for, a small sigh escaping his lips. Here we go. He approached the table, placing the books down next to Kano's elevated feet, then proceeding to pull up a chair and sit down. ]

"So, let's get started. What exactly did you need help with?"

[ he lets his latest form of architectual genius clatter to the table as soon as the stack of mystery books falls beside his feet, which he promptly lowers back to the ground. with Shintaro's obviously arrival, Kano sits up a bit straighter and offers his upperclassman a cheeky smile. ]

Aah, I figured covering a different subject every day would work well.. You don't have clubs after school anyway, isn't that right?

[ if Shintaro thinks Kano looks the slightest bit sly rather suddenly, he isn't incorrect. ]

We should work out a payment though, eh?

( It's the school festival so obviously Haruhi's out in a bunny girl outfit handing out flyers! And when someone doesn't take a flyer... she grabs them and gives them one! Which is what she does to this loser wearing a hoodie with his uniform. Really, some people just had weird fashion taste! )

[ as a flyer is forcibly shoved into his hands, kano's train of thought momentarily derails the moment he's grabbed by some student, and he's about to comment about how desirable he must be for a girl to pull him aside and bestow upon him such a gift but then he notices the ears. a quick glance down and he's seen all he needs to. ]

A..aha.. pff-! I'll.. m-make sure to-- pffft!

[ ...and proceeds to nearly double over in a fit of laughter. ]

( And friendly nice expression turns into angry tsundere one. Nice going kid. Her tone is accusatory as if she's a bad cop interrogating the suspect. )

[ The hoodied girl appears virtually out of nowhere. Kido plops down beside Kano, dropping the stack of flyers on the table as she does so and watching them scatter a little over the table.

They are visibly ticket sales for the prom.

[ he's used to the appear-disappear spontaneity that Kido has adapted, so her sudden company doesn't surprise him all too terribly. what does catch his attention, however, are the papers strewn along the table. ]

Oh? Could this be Kido's cool way of asking me to be her date? Not that I was expecting flowers in my shoe box, or anything!

It's not a date.

[ Kido sets out to pick out the papers that have now drifted on to the floor. It's Kano fault that she got roped into doing ticket sales anyway, but she's not complaining as long as she has something to do. ]

Are you going to Prom?

[ the other albino's appearance catches alcor's eyes immediately as they scrape past each other in the hall. the other... doesn't look much older than the students here, but the way his fingers linger over the piano certainly makes him look older.

the door behind him closes with a click, and alcor stumbles a few steps forward, not expecting the breeze to blow it shut. ]

As soon as you close your locker door there is Kido, staring at you. How did she get there? ]

Seto. You still need hours for your college application, right?

[ Good thing there hadn't been that much homework assigned that day-- that meant he had more time to finish his homework and head to work! Then again, it couldn't hurt to bring a few more home... He'd probably need them if he was going to help Mary again.

After inserting the necessary books into his backpack, he closed the door-- and there was Kido. Had she used her ability again? He hadn't seen her coming or anything-- a curious look appeared on his expression. ]

"A few, yes... Why?"

[ She shuffles through her bag for the slip of paper that she had grabbed before slipping out of the auditorium, and unfolds it before holding it out to Seto. ]

Stage crew's looking for people to help out.

[ No way is she going to tell him she's got a part in it. ]

You should, uh, bring Mary.

[ they aren't open-flame grilling but it sort of looks that way with the way the there's fire exploding out of the stove top. kano is laughing with a bottle of oil in hand.

[ He gives Kano a worried look, glancing back at the burning stove soon after. He was so sure that they had followed the teacher's instructions... Or maybe they misread something? It was a good thing the teacher was currently not in the room, or they would have been scolded for sure. ]

"I-I think that was a little too much, Kano..."

[ He laughs and waves his free hand in a dismissive manner. The recipe had been a catastrophe from the start, though he knew from the get-go that would be the ultimate result in taking this class. So much for helping with dinner. ]
