he knew, of course, that he couldn't pull the boy out, but could at least appear to be a hand reaching to help. still, he'll try to make this as painless as possible. ]

[ That was... somewhat unexpected. Though, they had been sort of drifting along for a while, he had realized... Unfortunately, he hadn't wanted to admit it to himself, and so he took the hit a little bit harder than he should have, even after a period of their relationship stagnating. ]

...Geez! Why is master taking so long! I oughta delete all the files on his computer when we get back home to teach him a lesson on keeping a lady waiting! ( ah. going off on a tangent seemed like a good way to start.
