7. hall of mirrors: you and your partner entered, thinking it would be easy to get out again, but dead ends abound in this wacky mirror-maze, and each mirror seems to show a more and more distorted image of each of you.

lucky for shintaro, the first mirror they come across is just the standard wibbly one that makes them look like little strips of ribbon. ]
Regret
Shintaro doesn't remember the last time he's been to a carnival-- so it's safe to say that he's never been (or just doesn't remember being) in a house of mirrors.
He's mildly intrigued by the effects they have on their bodies, but he nonetheless keeps a straight face-- although the curiosity is still obvious in his eyes. ]

But really they are approaching the next set of mirrors that double up on each other, creating a seemingly infinite amount of repetitive rooms. However, Shintaro might notice that Kano's reflection is now taller than his! Could this be the mirrors? ]

[ He said this with a bit of a sarcastic edge to his words, the memories-- no, scratch that, they weren't even memories-- appearing unwillingly. But wait, was Kano actually taller than him? He had to look back at the male in confusion to make sure it was just a trick on his mind-- and luckily, it was. ]

[ he wipes at the corner of his eyes with a snickering laugh, taking one last look into the mirrors before carrying on with a chuckle and leading them towards the next room. here, though, the mirrors aren't shaped oddly at all. they're warped, and every inch of the walls are covered with the reflective glass but it's probably a bit strange that Kano's reflection looks startling like Shintaro's.
